INFORMATION THAT WE COLLECT FROM YOU:

Contact Us: The information which you voluntarily provide us through the ‘Contact Us’ page on the Website will be used for the purposes of satisfying your request such as responding to a query or providing an article or publication. This includes:

  • Email address
  • First name
  • Last name
  • Organisational affiliation

We will only use your email address to respond to such a query.

General enquiries sent to info@genderandhealthcommission.org email address. The information which you voluntarily provide us through sending an email to this address will only be used for the purposes of satisfying your request. We will only use your email address to respond to such a query.

Mailing list: If you choose register to receive information from  the LCGGH via the subscribe to our newsletter option, we will collect certain information from you to make it possible to send you the following content: We will share a LCGGH newsletter or update periodically and which includes news on our activities, new outputs, as well as events and opportunities. We try to limit our communications and updates to you no more than once or twice a month. If you wish to stop receiving information or updates from us at any point, you can follow the unsubscribe instructions on any communications sent to you or contact us using the details at the end of this Privacy and Cookie Policy.

Personal data relating to our contacts will be retained for so long as is necessary and relevant, or until you indicate otherwise to us. 

Job / volunteer enquiries: If you submit a job application or enquire about a potential position with us, or with a view to becoming a volunteer / intern with us, we will ask you to provide relevant personal information about you. These will be stored while your application is assessed, and may be stored for a longer period in order to retain your records for future opportunities. 

LEGAL BASIS FOR PROCESSING YOUR PERSONAL DATA 

We will use your personal data in the following instances:

(b) where we need to perform a contract with you;

(c) where we need to comply with a legal obligation; and

DISCLOSURE OF YOUR INFORMATION

We may use the following third-party service providers named below to process and store your data: Mailchimp (The Rocket Science Group, LLC), which we use to manage email subscriber lists and send emails to our subscribers. Read their privacy policy at https://mailchimp.com/legal/privacy/

Eventbrite: if you register for an event hosted by the LCGGH via eventbrite, certain personal details (name, email address, affiliation) may be collected and stored via eventbrite. We may also disclose your personal information to our affiliates who assist us in fulfilling requests for information, receiving and sending communication or other services from time to time. We may disclose personal information if required to do so by law, court order or for the purposes of prevention of fraud or other crime or if we believe that such action is necessary to protect the rights of Options.
