In the fifth event of the series, we will hear from Commissioner Ben Cislaghi, Associate Professor at the Gender, Health and Violence Centre at LSHTM. To what extent are the international gender equality and global health movements including and respecting women’s voices in setting the agenda and evaluating successes? In this seminar, Ben Cislaghi will look at the tensions between agency, international justice, and global health, suggesting that conceptual tribalism might foster, instead of solve, the very problems that the gender equality movement is trying to solve.
